Daily Grow ("Daily Grow", "we", "us", or "our") is a personal-growth app that combines task management, habit tracking, finance tracking, and an AI journal. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the app and website, how we use it, and the choices you have.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

• Account information — your email address and authentication details when you sign up.
• Content you create — tasks, habits, check-ins, journal entries, and reflections.
• Financial information you enter — wallets, balances, transactions, budgets, goals, lent/borrowed records, and split-bill details. This is financial data you choose to record; we do not connect to your bank.
• Receipt images — photos you scan so the app can read the vendor, amount, date, and line items.
• Feedback — ratings and messages you send us through the in-app feedback form.

Information collected automatically

• Usage data — how you interact with features, so we can fix problems and improve the app.
• Device and log data — basic technical information such as browser type, device, and timestamps, used for security and reliability.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to:

• Provide the app's core features — tasks, habits, finance tracking, journaling, and insights.
• Power AI features you use, such as the Grow Assistant, receipt scanning, voice-and-paste task capture, and forecasting.
• Keep your account secure and prevent abuse.
• Understand how the app is used so we can improve it and shape what we build next.
• Respond to your feedback and support requests.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your private content to serve you third-party advertising.

4. AI features and processing

Some features send your content to AI models so the app can respond intelligently — for example, splitting a voice note into tasks, reading a receipt, or answering a question about your own data in the Grow Assistant.

• Content is processed to generate a result for you — for instance, an answer, a category, or a forecast.
• We may use trusted third-party AI providers to perform this processing on our behalf. These providers act as processors under agreements that restrict how they may use the data.
• Where we rely on providers, we aim to work only with those that do not train their public models on your submitted content. Provider practices can change; we will keep this section current as our providers do.

5. How we share information

We share information only in these limited situations:

• Service providers — infrastructure, database, hosting, and AI processors that help us run the app, under confidentiality obligations.
• People you choose — when you use features such as connected split bill, the details you share (e.g. a split link and its items) are visible to the people you send them to.
• Legal reasons — if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the service.
• Business transfers — if the service is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to you where required.

6. Storage and retention

Your data is stored with our hosting and database providers on secured infrastructure. We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal content within a reasonable period, except where we must retain certain records to comply with the law or resolve disputes.

7. Your rights and choices

• Access & export — you can view and export your data from within the app.
• Correction — you can edit your content at any time.
• Deletion — you can delete individual entries or your entire account.
• Withdraw consent — you can stop using AI features or close your account at any time.

8. Security

We protect your data with encryption in transit, row-level access controls that keep each account's data private, and authenticated access. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and to respond quickly if something goes wrong. Learn more on our Security page.

9. Children's privacy

Daily Grow is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will remove it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use of Daily Grow after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
